Yep. I think it's entirely possible after 40 pages of debate the moral of this story is the kid is exactly where he needs to be.
Is Born really worse than Trey Jackson or Tyler Harris? I'd argue that he is better than both.

Agree. Clayton Custer was MVC player of the year, and couldn't get off the bench here as a freshman. He would have probably been a solid player for us eventually, but not a game changer.

When are we ever going to hire a coach who has a kid that is really good. Isn't it about our turn for that.
Custer is nothing like Born or the guys we currently have, he was a top 150 player who played behind some of the most successful and productive players to ever wear the uniform. He had offers from 4 big 12 programs, 1 SEC and 2 AAC. He had more p6 offers than Solo (2), Jackson (2), Johnson (0) and Born (0) combined. He also had more than Conditt (3), Walker (4) and as many as Bolton, who he was higher rated than by every service. I'd love to hear your thoughts on those guys.
