This is such a reoccurring theme...be in the game until the last couple minutes. Then don't execute. Is this coaching? Players not knowing how to close and win? (They've been annihilated on the boards.) Whatever it is...it's happening over and over and over again. Just can't seem to make the big plays to win the games. Liked the effort though. But that's not acceptable to be content with just that for this program. Bummer. Kids need a win.

unfortunately it has become a losing culture and this is what happens in close games. no guidance from coach or players

There were 11 seconds left and no timeouts. He needed to be out there. What was Prohm doing? Saving him for overtime?

So down 3 with 12 seconds left and no timeouts you decide to not even have Bolton in the game. If you get a turnover you have no timeouts and your best two 3 point options (JCL and Bolton) are on the bench. This f’ing guy.

One good thing with the ending is the love fest for TCU's Frank is over.

Give him credit though. We might have won if he hadn't played as well as he did. Was Walker our only freshman who played tonight?

This is the worst team I’ve ever seen at Iowa State and I sat through all 4 years of McD teams in the student section. I don’t even know where to start.

The McDermott days look great compared to this year.

I think he's really overrated, but you can't play these other jokers ahead of him, even with 4.

Come on Erik. We are all upset and frustrated with the direction of the program, but I don’t think we need call players jokers etc. If they are wearing an ISU uniform it is on the coaching staff, kids are just taking advanced of an opportunity given to them.

Agreed. I think that winless A&M team nearly 20 years ago is better than this team.
