Pollard needs to get his ducks in a row and start finalizing his short list. And he needs to act like there is actually a name beyond TJ.

How is "he is doing a good job " even an option to choose. Lol
Life is also better when you don't overthink every situation. Blame the players? Ok. They're either not being coached well or not held accountable...both coaching issues to a degree.
I’m not going to post the full list of factors, but by saying he’s “responsible for everything”, you’re blaming him for, among other things,
A. Blake Lynch’s illness,
B. Xavier Fister’s unhealed injury from high school,
C. Tyrese going pro after two years, when no one could have expected that when he was recruited,
D. Tre Jackson’s bad knee,
man’s lastly...
E. COVID.
That from issues with workouts before the season, to missed, badly needed game experience (we’ve played six fewer games than MSU) to currently missing players.
Are you aware of just how buck stupid blaming someone for all of that is?
And since we’ve played so few games, let alone so long since won, this is nothing but an extended postgame meltdown.
It was just before all the COVID bumps in the road that we were playing Top Ten teams tough, after all. Despite the fact that we have so little experience returning.
Look at Iowa. I’m no expert on them, but I do know they have a core of at least four players who have played at least three years on the court together.
Us? Our “core of experience” would be Bolton and Solomon, who have spent a grand total of one year before now on the court in games together full time.
Basketball is a game of teamwork. This group has had no chance to develop teamwork.
And that sure as hell isn’t Steve Prohm’s fault.
Not really hard to imagine. Players could quit, commitments decommit. Nobody wants to get their teeth kicked in over and over following a coach that has nothing to offer.
G.C. was 0-0 with 1 point tonight so I'm liking the comparative odds of him taking a step back.
You say its like its just this year. Or just those players that are the reason we're where we're at (plenty of recruiting misses and regression among some players have played just as big of a role)
He's underperformed almost his entire tenure and has led us to historic losses.
Losers make lists of excuses.
Aclone...understandable. But someone will be held responsible and accountable for the loses...that will be Prohm. Whether you think it's dumb or not.

I agree it is already toxic. I don’t understand the thought process of making it more toxic for the next coach.
