Just some fun discussion on a Friday night. Which team would you go with:

Team A:
Brock Purdy
David Montgomery
Allen Lazard

Team B:
Seneca Wallace
Breece Hall
Hakeem Butler

The rest of the team on offense, defense, and special teams is from the 2020 roster for each.

Was kind of hoping it'd be a 3 v 3 NBA Jam type of set up.

Probably B.

I gravitated to B initially but I think Montgomery behind this line would have similar results to Breece, maybe not as flashy, would have probably killed a few more safeties though.

I'll go A

I like the basic concept, I might want more cross-pollination between the eras (Seneca is the only era-outlier in the options presented) and perhaps an option C.

But sticking to the question as presented: I'll go w/ B.

Either combo is formidable.

A has 2 people who are now in the NFL. And Purdy can play in the pocket.

I love B, but A is better

Team A. Hakeem's occasional drops will put that team behind the chains more often. But I think both teams would be really good.

Team A would have around 25 first downs per game. Team B close to half of that but more big plays. Going to come down to 2 point conversions in triple overtime.

Even if Wallace could get the ball to Butler he would drop half of them. That alone is the diff between these two lineups.
