CMC took a moment today to celebrate.... then went back to work 
Other than unfinished business I wonder if they want to work out with the new strength coach to get them to another level?
Charlie wants to get his Master's in Finance and it runs concurrent with an engineering degree, so he would only need 2 more semesters of classes to get it. Between that and the players wanting a full year with Dave Andrews, it was a fairly easy decision for him (and the others returning).
I have a friend that isn't a sports fan who always makes comments about athletes coming back to get their degrees. I have enjoyed pointing out to her how many really, really smart guys there are on this football team.
It is worth pointing out that college is awesome, and getting to put on the Cardinal and Gold is awesome. Money comes and goes, but being a graduate of Iowa State University and competing with your teammates is priceless. I am happy for the guys who want to be done and attempt to earn a living in the NFL, and I am happy for the guys who love college, college life, the game, their teammates, and want one more shot at a title. It is a great time to be a Cyclone!
Is this not the most Charlie Kohler way to announce he was coming back? Hahaha. Right to the point...god love ya Charlie.

I work nights. So waking up this past week to all these players coming back as been awesome. Now if we can get CMC and his staff more money, that would be the cherry on top. I understand that JP needs to be timely with making it public bc some people will complain that ISU is paying all this money to the football program. My mom worked at ISU as a large animal vet. She would complain everytime we extended coaches. She doesn't like sports the way we do tho. Just to get back...I would make her buy all Iowa State gear at Xmas...haha, eat it mom!
