I thought Phase II was going to last until around noon tomorrow and then after a holiday hiatus we'd get started on Phase III this weekend. Looks like I missed that prediction. And we were all getting along so well...
As far as the analytic discussion, and thanks to everyone for their input, I've determined that the ISU run defense works like this: Out of a 3-3 stack with your outstanding corner #26 in tight press man on one side, the ball is snapped and the safety rotates over to the cloud and inputs a pass code which teleports the rest of the defense to the line thereby creating an impenetrable wall of meat from sideline to sideline.
I am, of course, being facetious, but I've taken away that one of the keys to watch in the game is the Oregon rushing offense versus the Cyclones rushing defense. Should be a great battle.
I also intend to drink too much beer tonight and take a run at making some Cyclone memes. Brace yourselves, I expect they will terrible. All in fun though right?
