He was the one that was noticeable in his absence, for me. Not in the small print, either. Thought he'd be as good an option at 165 as Stotts or Judge.

I really thought the staff would address 165 this offseason (sounds like rumors they may be trying still), but I hope Stotts went back to the shop for a bigger gas tank if that's who we're rolling with this year

With the NCAA essentially making this a free season for freshman we should find as much mat time as possible for him and the rest of our signees. I know OkSt plans to wrestle both Mastrogiovanni and Ferrari this year.

How does 65 look across the conference this year?

Wittlake (OSU) and Cook (SDSU) will be the top 2 with Wittlake distancing himself I would assume. The rest of the conference at 165 will be toss up matches like its been the last few years. Fogarty (NDSU) and Meneweather (AF) both graduated.

How is that suppose to happen with 12 duals? Assuming they don’t get cancelled. I don’t think there will be many or any tournament opportunities this year. You have to give the starters as much mat time as possible prior to big 12s. It will be interesting to see how NCAA qualifiers are determined this year.

When it works out, there will be exhibition matches either before or after the duals for backups to get matches in.
