Solo challenged and altered lots of shots. He is the only consistent offensive threat. What other big men do you want to play? Conditt can't score and has bad defensive positioning. Foster is not ready. What do you want to do? Play 5 guards who only chuck threes?

Just saying there’a much more to basketball than points scored. He likely is our best post player still doesn’t mean he’s good at defense or rebounding. In his defense those things obviously have not been emphasized in the Phrom era.

Doesn’t matter if you score 24 if you give up 30+

Plenty of threads to post negativity, mplueg, take that crap elsewhere. Plus you’re flat out wrong about Solo not playing D. You obviously haven’t watched many of his games.

Definitely the reason we came back. Yeah, his defense was decent (though he defends better against a traditional big than a really mobile one). Need to make it a point to get him involved early, as it gets his motor going.
