Fans for WV?

No announcement. I hope there are some for the Seniors, but I am doubting it.
I’m guessing there will be. Students are gone now and Iowa is trending better than many of the other states that had fans at game this weekend.
I think it will depend more on what the state of Iowa rules are for outdoor events than what ISU wants to do. Hoping we get to go.
Based on the verbiage by the Governors proclamation a couple weeks ago, collegiate sports are exempt from capacity/gathering restrictions imposed by the state.
We could have had fans at the last game according to state rules and unless something changes we will be able to next Saturday. It was a university decision last time.
The game is very special to 16 individuals and their parents. Better include Campbell too. I would hope that strict enforcement of Covid masking/distancing will allow for enough attendance for a more normal atmosphere. If not, I hope that some type of expression will be allowed to honor these 16 players that is significant and not sadly weak.
I feel really bad about that for the seniors. If any group deserves a loud and proper send off, it’s that one.
That’s the Deep South though. They DGAF.
On the call-in show last night, Jamie said there would be an announcement this morning or early afternoon. It sounded promising to having fans in the stands.
I like the sentiment, but a sold out crowd would be a HUGE mistake. Just let the ones of us who kept our season tickets attend like the OU, TT and Baylor games. We will cheer for all of Cyclone Nation!
Pretty sure all JP is considering is the ones with tickets. North sure about students since they were a lottery and you only got one so you may not know anybody. My son picked up several in that way since we had tickets.
