How soft is Texas with "Horns down?"

I'd like to be the program and fanbase that is better than the whole horns down thing but guess not.
I'd like Texas to not get special treatment than can result in a penalty because of it.
Horns up by their players: no penalty
Horns down by other players: penalty

Breece seemed to be untouched on his TD. Did Texas concede to gain time for their offensive drive? We had 1st and goal at the 2 in the first half and choked. Mensa man probably should have tried for a goal line stand with another possible ISU offensive penalty.

According to Herman, they didn't let him get it on first down, but were going to after that.

Rewatch that play. There were five cyclones in the end zone at the end of the play.

That was out of the blue, and I was surprised it didn't work. Herman didn't think they were going to win without that play. He could feel the game slipping away.
I’m so glad he’s not a coach for us anymore. It’s satisfying seeing a coach with 10x more talent than us find ways to continually let down their fans and underperform.
