Thanks so much to @CycloneRulzzz for this suggestion bright and early this morning!

What is a show from awhile ago that you enjoyed that you are enjoying again or what is a show from the past if you had time and access would like to watch again?

This one isn't going to knock anyone over or anything, but I had originally stopped watching The Office after Michael moved to Colorado. At the start of quarantine, I started over from the first episode and watched all of the way through. It holds up so very well.

I've rewatched the OG seasons of Arrested Development several times - but I've only seen the second-to-newest season once, and not the newest one at all. I need to rewatch those.

What have you got?
 
On Friday nights, my family watches an episode from the original Star Trek series before the kids go to bed. The kids love it and now they will play "Star Trek" outside. The show is super relaxing to help wind down from the week and is a great introduction to Sci-Fi.

A coworker introduced me to JustWatch.com, which is a great way to check and see if any of the streaming services have a better deal on a show.

Perfect timing. I just found out Blue Mountain State is on Amazon Prime. The world could use more lighthearted raunchy football shows right now!

Ironic you bring up Don Knotts. What gave me the idea was that I've become an avid watcher of the Pluto TV app. They have channels specially of old shows i.e. old school American gladiators, baywatch etc. One of their channels is nothing by 24/7 episodes of Three's Company.

The show was 76-84 so I was too young for the original run but caught it on syndication as pre-teen. It was so good. Rewatching it has been just as funny. The one thing now that is a tad uncomfortable is the un-pc way that they refer to the gay community, but like All in the Family it was a sign of the times.

Great show, John Ritter was an amazing actor and he's not the first but to me he took physical comedy and made it a fine art. Now for @oldman and Don Knotts for me the show improved dramatically when the landlord went from the Ropers to Ralph Furley. Knotts mannerisms as Furley were so good.

I never saw an episode of Survivor in my life. A month ago or so I randomly picked a season (20 - Philippines) and got hooked. Now I’m watching all 40 seasons straight. Only season 4 so far and my craze may die down but the amount of content is unbeatable.

I’m a similar vein of amount of content, I found a YouTube series called Good Mythical Morning at the beginning of Quarantine. Never been a huge YouTube guy either but a couple of their videos found me on Facebook. That has like 26 seasons (15min episodes) and I watched every single episode and now I’m caught up with their daily episodes. Took like 6 months.

A couple on my list that I was frankly too young to get into when they came out are the Sopranos, The Wire and Lost.

Echo of The Office. I watch it all the time on Comedy Central.

I faded in watching it after maybe 3 or 4 seasons as even before Michael left things started feeling forced but it's interesting watching how things develop. The series finale was actually really good.

EBR only gets better and better over time...especially if you have kids. The plot is just so easy and when Ray is the worst actor in the bunch you know its top notch. Robert's facial expressions alone are worth watching.

My wife and I recently did this with The Office also. We had both liked the show when it was actually on, but only got through about half of the seasons originally due to life happening. I agree that it does hold up really well, and I actually appreciated more this time around as I actually have office experience now as opposed to manual labor jobs before.

I've also started back on Saved By the Bell although I'm doing it kind of backwards as I started with the College Years. I am enjoying it due to nostalgia factor, but that show does not hold up very well. As I'm now more mature I find myself realizing even more how crappy a person Zack is.

We had our oldest about the same time I stopped watching, and that was also a huge factor for me. Newborns don't leave you a lot of extra time, and serialized TV is an easy thing to jettison.

Cheers is on Netflix. Have been watching for a while. Couldn't appreciate it when it was first on. (Too many jokes going over the head of a kid watching it with his dad.
