Kansas State

I see a lot of ISU in KSU. Two teams that have success winning ugly.

To win ISU will need to win on the lines of scrimmage. I think we may need to play some 4-2-5 to be physical up front and introduce a wrinkle for KSU blocking schemes

The other key will be preventing big plays by K-States offense.

Vaughn is the only player they have that scares me. Guy is dangerous in the open field.

Moore is a solid tight end, doesn’t really strike fear.

KSU plays such sound and fundamental football, that even though they might only have a couple of guys that are studs they can be in every game. That's what scares me about them. They rarely make mistakes and they're very well coached.

Can't let Hubert (#56) live in our backfield and screw everything up.

You have to seriously wonder why K-State is even a concern for ISU given the EMAW clan has but one player worthy of distinction.

I would hope you're not serious here. There's a lot of respect for KSU in this thread. IMO if ISU keeps Howard in the pocket, keeps Vaughn at least halfway in check and doesn't allow any special teams TDs, they win by 2 TDs. Easier said than done, though. I expect a close game that comes down to the 4th quarter.

OK. If (big if at this point) several K-State starters miss our game due to C19, and the kittens lose, you will make no mention of it?
Let's hope it doesn't come to that. My understanding is that this current outbreak at K-State is amongst younger, non-starters.

I want to see these two squads go at it with their best talent on the field, sans Skylar Thompson.
