Very true. They could just shove all of the **** into the cave and call it good. Hopefully some folks are happy they are spending time trying to police it so that an informational thread on COVID-19 can exist outside the cave. Maybe it isn't worth it.

Eli Lilly and Co said that the government-sponsored clinical trial of its COVID-19 antibody treatment has been paused because of a safety concern.

You mean confirmed documented cases increase with the increased number of testing. Who would have thought? LOL.

In any event this is good news as heard immunity becomes closer while actual death rates and hospitalizations plummet.
Hospitalizations have tripled in WI in the last month. 463 are hospitalized in Iowa right now. That’s way up from where it was late summer.

As a percentage of confirmed cases they are way down. ;)
Yeah because we’re testing more young people than we were early on. The raw number of the people in the hospital or dead is the most important statistic, and those numbers are bad around here and getting worse.

Wisconsin hospitalizations by age group. Pretty clear.
Total of all hospitalization of the known confirmed documented cases: 6%

Not as a percentage of confirmed cases.
Who cares?! More people are getting very sick with it than ever before. That’s what matters. If we were nearing herd immunity those numbers would be leveling off. This virus is still finding plenty of hosts that it can infect without being fought off.
