THT youngest U.S born player ever to win an NBA championship! Magic was 20.
Darko Miličić was 18 when the Pistons won a title.
Still one of the biggest busts in NBA history, but he had that going for him.
His wife is a fashion designer, and sister of a deceased Serbian criminal.
He was on the expanded 18 -man bubble roster, but for the finals he was not even in the box score as a DNP - Coach’s decision.
His youth and raw abilities makes him a project for a Lakers team with enough present star power. He is a lucky man to get drafted into that situation. Regardless a ring is a ring. Congrats to THT.
I’m thinking I’d cheerfully trade “Lottery Pick” for “Championship Ring”. Guessing there are a few guys in the NBA who would.
I am not trying to undercut Talen's accomplishments, luck, and success this year in some of the things I have said -- if anything, I want to provide reminders I think the best is yet to come for him.
He is super young, and super young guys rarely play significant minutes on championship contenders. That being said, he has all the potential in the world with a unique mixture of strength, bulk, and length.
I hope he is crushing it in a few years as a solid part of a good team's rotation.
Pretty awesome experience for THT even as a bench warmer. Not many players get to experience that. Hope he can work his way into being a rotation guy next year.

I'm going to guess the sudden interest in seeing what they have with him in the bubble was not a coincidence. I imagine they were seeing if he could be a viable bench piece next year and it would seem to me he proved that, even in limited time.
