I like it, but I feel it was unnecessary to change it.

Agree. Not a fan. Nothing memorable or distinctive about it at all.
Meh, the old one was better because it matches the outside of what the store looks like. This just has no character.
Curious about what made them feel that they needed to make a change.
is their hot food so expensive to pay for the new brand development?

on a side note, i love reading new branding materials because they ALWAYS talk about "invoking" something or talking about respecting the past and modernizing it to show their future.

This is the exact same thing I said in the convenience store thread.
Who ever designed this, Casey's probably paid them too much. Very blah.

I've seen new designs that were actually a big improvement. So not everybody.
That was my immediate thought. If anything, throw a piece of breakfast pizza on top as the weather vane.
Impossible to care less. Only posting because it's better than working.
