Not sure how daily tests are going to help this. As soon as they test positive they're shelved for 3 weeks. You can contact trace sooner I guess, but testing doesn't magically make this go away. The only way to ensure playing is to have players follow strict rules. How many of these postponed games can be traced back to players attending some sort of party vs getting it in practice.

Before the Big Ten decided to play big boy ball he posted that the Big 12, ACC, and SEC should delay the start of their seasons to wait for the Big Ten. He must be in the Big Ten's pocket to try to polish the turd decisions the Big Ten has made.

Seems to me the conferences that are able to build in bye weeks are better off in case of outbreaks, which would be....not the big 10. Getting tests done faster just means you know earlier in the week that your game on sat is canceled.

The only “playing” advantage the Big 10 has is that a lot of their teams have already had outbreaks so they may be more immune to an outbreak causing a delay in mid-season.

No, Big 12 requires 3 tests per week with the last one occurring the day prior to a game. BIG requires testing 6 times per week. Each conference is slightly different.

What are the players doing to put themselves at risk of getting it?

Aren't they the ones who were demanding to play?

Once there's a bad infection, it spreads rapidly and then gets compounded by contact tracing requirements. This season is going to be in large part about program depth, something K-State has never had even in the Wizard's best years.
