Interesting news from a German Pharma company Curevac. Hopes to produce 100 million vaccines by the end of the year, they realize that they are behind the leaders U.S. rival Moderna and Germany’s Biontech. Another interesting tidbit is that Curevac may also expand its cooperation with Grohmann, a subsidiary of Elon Musk’s electric car maker Tesla, in developing so-called RNA printers that would make it possible to decentralise vaccine production.

I just find it funny how nobody had a problem with the Putin comment from this morning, but when somebody calls out that ridiculous and obviously political comment THAT is when the thread takes a collective gasp and calls for an end to politics. I fully support no politics but it has to go both ways for this to work.

I can't speak for everyone but when I see something political in a non-cave thread I generally just ignore it and hope it doesn't escalate. When somebody replies then you get the gasp and the attempt to stop it before it flares up.
They have things to help for the premature gasping and delaying flare ups.
C'mon folks. This is a useful thread for us non-cave dwellers. Please go there if you want to stir things up.

I started it and not for political reasons.
I'm fairly lefl leaning but it's pretty easy to see that the reporting has been pretty bad on this. For example the news about T Cells has gotten very little mention...just last week some morning show was still throwing it out there that the antibodies disappear...that's innaccurate.
There's been good information that helps us understand the virus and gives us things to look forward to.
Its really easy to stay out of the thread if you don't want to share or hear positive news. You've done fairly well at this, but simply1 simply has not.
