Interesting seeing Xavier Hutchinson speaking to the media.
Yeah, just seeing that increases my expectation level for him quite a bit. You don’t usually see a guy who hasn’t played a down at press conferences.
I don’t need a 10,000th take on “things happening in the sports world”. I can get that anywhere. I’d prefer more info on ISU football.
Why would I? I don’t have any idea who Matt Belinson is—but I know he’s not Jamie Pollard.

If the players feel it is important, why bring your assertion that you don't care how important they think it is?

What if I told you what's going on in the sports world and beyond is going to effect Iowa State football?
Maybe these press conferences are for the players as much as they are the media and public? They deserve to be heard, or not. That's up to them, not you. What's happening in the sports world is extremely relevant since, you know, our players are a part of it, and a lot of them are black.
What if I told you that you could get a job at ESPN writing intros for 30 for 30s?
This will be a breath of fresh air compared to everything going on in the world right now.

And on a sports-focused note, who really thinks Campbell is coming out with a ton of information? Dude's practically caved in his vest holding his cards as smartly and tightly as he does.
Don't know why some haven't figured this out-- the sports world is Iowa State Football.
I've got to think that Campbell is secretly pretty pleased that he doesn't have do a lot of the ******** that he usually does before a season. No media day. No Big 12 media day. No daily fall camp press conferences.
Personally, I miss it a lot, but I bet he doesn't at all.
