Would you succeed in 1900?

Food also tasted terrible due to lack of refrigeration/freezer and no to little science behind seasoning, cooking, and flavor.

Pretty sure refrigeration has been around for longer than that although it may have been more for the Jones's of the world.

Our modern 'advances' have tricked us into thinking everything needs to taste amazing as opposed to being nutritionally critical.

The only way I could think of surviving would be to find some land I could claim for free and rent it out somehow. I guess I could run a hotel/restaurant as I’m a decent cook. But to me, it’s going out to claim land (for free) in an area I know is going to grow and try and rent out rooms. This is assuming I am able to retain real estate trends.

I did good at Oregon Trail but would likely die a horrible death of dysentery or die of a heart attack waking up to a snake in my tent.

And I've watched a lot of Naked and Afraid, so luckily, I wouldn't even NEED a tent.

I guess I should have asked, should we wear our masks when we go back so 1901 and later actually happens?

Sad joke, sorry.
