Why does Shaka keep landing big time big men?

Not really hard to land 4 and 5 star in state kids when you are the flagship institution in your state full of talent.

1. Its in texas.
2. Largest big 12 school. 51k students.
3. Unless you go to UK, name a great program in the south. Florida maybe?
4. History of his big men making the NBA.
5. Big 12 is the top conference with a southern preference.
6. Texas has one of the biggest budgets for athletics in the nation. I bet they are living good.

Tech, Baylor, FSU, Louisville, Tennessee could be lumped in there, Arizona could count if you see them as south (farther south than Lubbock).

Give up already.

If we are going to suck next year it is going to be because we can't play defense.
I would lump in 3 point shooting and rebounding. We have alot of areas to improve. Conditt making strides, Young being healthy and at least 1-2 of the transfers and Bolton being able to make those open shots will be a necessity.

If we get the transfer waivers this teams looks to have most of the pieces ISU needs to have a chance to be a tournament team.

Yeah but its i combination of all those things. Tech has only been good recently. Rape U? Pass. The top 10 big men wont all go to the same school, so that helps.

I was just mentioning some successful schools in the south, but yes I agree. Texas is a BIG fish.
