Chip Kelly in trouble

It’s not just football - there aren’t going to be any sports for a good long time, not when MLB can’t get its **** together to even put a part season together, and several teams shutting its clubhouses down, not to mention the Tampa Bay Lightning have shut down camp, Clemson has something like 20 guys testing positive, etc.

Yeah, its worth keeping in mind that basketball is probably even more a risk given everyone is even closer packed in and indoors. Its far enough out no one is looking at it right now, but its going to be hard to make work.

IF there is a vaccine indeed ready by the end of the year, I could see basketball starting in January or February with a tournament in April or May.

It may still be without fans, but if the NCAA can secure enough doses for the athletes, it's be worth their while financially to have a season.

Don't hold your breath on a vaccine. Unless they develop the equivalent of a "flu" shot, and call that a vaccine. Might as well cancel sports forever. Covid 19 isn't going anywhere.

I wonder why they’re looking to get out barely 4 years in to a 15 year contract. Is this something we’ll see more of as the pandemic continues?
Makes you wonder. Not sure if its tied to Kelly at all just a weird timing (if not because of Covid).

Because UA grossly overpaid, and now they're probably going to have issues making good due to lack of revenue.
