B12 expectations ...

This is for Big 12 wins, right? Not total wins. Betting the over means we'd have to go 8-1 in conference play.

Oklahoma is projected at 9.5 wins. That couldn't be just Big12 wins only as we only play 9 Big12 games per season. So the projections have to be for total wins, conference and non-conference.

I can't see Okie going 9-3 unless they have a monster non-con.

I think oklahoma's 9.5 projection includes the title game.

I agree, I think I'd take the over on them. 10-2 for them wouldn't be too unreasonable.

I'd say they have 3 toughest games all in a row: Texas in Dallas, Iowa State in Ames and Okie State in Norman. They also get Tennessee in Norman but I have no idea if they are any good. I see they were 8-5 last year so not up to beating OU likely. So I agree 10-2 looks realistic.

I haven't looked at schedules, but Okie St. must have a super easy out of conference schedule to be that low in the sos rankings while having a Big 12 regular season.

I read today that Iowa is expected to be 4-1 when they play Ohio State. I wonder who is expected to beat them? ISU, Minnesota, or Mich St?

For reference, here is the Big 12 OOC schedule. Pretty solid for some this year.

Baylor- Ole Miss, Incarnate Word, LA Tech

ISU- South Dakota, @ Iowa, UNLV

Kansas- New Hampshire, Boston College, @Coastal Carolina (wut)

Kansas St- Buffalo, North Dakota, Vanderbilt

Oklahoma St- Oregon St, Tulsa, W. Illinois

Oklahoma- Mo St, Tennessee, @Army

TCU- @Cal, Prairie View A&M, @SMU

Texas- S.Florida, @LSU, UTEP

Texas Tech- @UTEP, Alabama St, Arizona

W. Virginia- Florida St, Eastern Kentucky, Maryland.

Possible 6-0 before going to Norman; Texas is at home. I'd say "over" looks like a reasonable bet.

I wouldn't touch ours at 7.5. I think we will be over, but I could easily see 7-6 again too. New OL and Tom Manning as our OC might make scoring a challenge at times.
