97-98 Bulls Documentary (The Last Dance)

I think they are trying to see who can toss a quarter closest to the wall without hitting it

I thought it was something with a coin but there were all those red things all over the floor. I guess those must have been markers of previous shots.

Glad they are showing some Knicks highlights.
Seemed like the Knicks, Pacers were on TV a lot in that era.

I do have to say Mike having control of like all the teams tickets is odd. I mean, I get it, but just a little weird.

Those Knicks teams were filled with big forwards and small guards. They never had the solid wing they needed.

Man, I forgot how much some of the little stuff was such a big influence on me back in the day. Hearing Ahmad Rashad makes me remember Inside Stuff, and my girl Summer Sanders.
Loved that show, also loved This Week In Baseball.

Allen Houston was maybe the closest to it but totally agree.

Yeah Houston had good size but by the time they got him Ewing was past his prime. Houston would be a great fit in today’s game, taking like nine 3’s a game, able to guard multiple positions.

I had to see where John Starks played before NY, who would have thought the CBA in Cedar Rapids was a stop.

I didn't have all that extensive of cable TV at the time of the first 3 peat so my sports were on 4 channels and it was fine.

And Sportscenter was really good then.

Richard Dumas, what a flash in the pan he was. One of the best players on the floor in an NBA Finals at like 24 but couldn’t stay away from drugs.

NBA was at it best when it was on NBC. Best sports theme ever.

Fun story regarding that Phoenix Chicago game 6. In summer of 93 I'm 12 years old and my parents had signed me up for boy scout camp at Camp Mitigwa. I argued about going being an hardcore bulls fan even at that age. But money was paid and I had to go. Night 1 at Mitigwa was same night as game 6. I took a tv/radio with me and I'm listening to that game. I'm listening to the end in my tent and when Paxson hit that I yelled like I've never done before. By that time it was lights out and I got yelled at but I didn't give a ****. No camp stands between me and my sports team.
