Since so many people are stuck at home, I am guessing others' pets are having a field day with all of the attention (or annoyed with your presence, if you have cats). Show us your pictures of your pet(s)! Extra bonus points if you have a fun story.

This is our cavachon, Hazel - we got this expensive little butthole because of my allergies, and we adore her.

Here's a photo of her before a trim, after a trim when she was super cold so we had to put her in a sweater, and then a poster of her that I got to annoy Janny by putting in the bar area.

One of my favorite quotes about children comes from the show "Scrubs" - it is roughly, "Kids are like dogs that slowly learn to talk." I love that this photo proves it!

These are our babies. Unfortunately, the black one just passed away this week at 16 1/2 years old. He was born with his back legs fused, and walked on his front paws doing a handstand most of the time. So he had an incredible life for all that.

That is so incredibly sweet - that is an amazing display of strength! I'm so sorry that he passed - I bet this has been a really hard time.

They have made numerous appearances in Zoom meetings over the last month.




This is our 19 year old cockatiel Rory. She is sassy and runs the house.

The losses are tough, but the joy that dogs bring over the years make the hurt of losing them pale in comparison.

Interesting story about Akira. Shibas are runners, and they don't really respond to being called. Akira once got frightened and slipped out of her harness. It took us 5 days to track her down and we ended up having to live trap her.
After 5 days on her own out in the woods near Central City, she smelled like she had rolled in absolutely everything under the sun.

Chloe has the nickname "poop face" as that is her favorite place to rub rabbit poop.

Dogs are great.

I used to know a girl that had a Dalmation. She had to devise incredibly intricate security apparatus to prevent the dog from getting into her closets and chewing up her shoe collection.

Morley. He's 2 1/2 years old. Loves everyone and expects everyone to love him back. So far he's batting 1000. Bichon/Maltese mix. Officially they call it a Maltichon. I prefer Bitchin-tese. Mostly has Bichon characteristics except for the moveable ears and face are more Maltese.
