If Steve is that weak of salesmen that he can’t recruit against opposing coaches pointing out disparaging Internet forum posts, then I switch my vote and he needs to go ASAP. It would actually explain a lot as to why he struggles every spring.

but all the negativity that flows through these websites, and all the people openly wanting him fired, all the comments on the players, and the state of the program is noticed.

and when there isn’t a whole lot of difference between their choices, of course that will tip the scales.

But I don’t expect you and the rest to understand because you’re in all in agreement.

He’s going to be the coach here for at least one more year. I would assume if next year is bad he will be gone, but who knows with the variable that we have had thrown in.

Based on our apparent inability to sell the program right now I'd imagine we have more guys looking to get out than we do looking to get in.

I didn't want to have to be the one to say it put JP will 100% give CSP a pass on this spring. Not being able to get guys on campus due to Covid-19 is a huge roadblock for Iowa State. If he has a respectable class put together in the fall I don't think next seasons results will matter much as long as the young guys appear to have upside.

It is going to be very difficult to put a good class together in the fall.

I’m not so sure. I never thought they would take Reid Travis. Solomon is a level down from Reid Travis, but he was really good down the stretch this season.

I’m not so sure. I never thought they would take Reid Travis. Solomon is a level down from Reid Travis, but he was really good down the stretch this season.

They only have one guy returning so they would probably be open to taken a lot of guys they normally wouldn’t take.
