This. Even when we were good my time was strapped, but it was worth it. Driving home after historic losses isn't on my list. I am a busy MFer though.
You'd be surprised though. I turned down free tickets to 3 different games and I live within an hour of Hilton. They were all games we got destroyed in. I attended that Iowa game which pretty much ruined it for me for the rest of the year (not because we lost to Iowa, but the way we lost). It's going to be hard for me to get myself to go until change is made. It just isn't fun anymore.

The bigger problem is how fast we are losing students showing up. Saw pictures of the TCU game and CA look legitimately worse than any McDermott game. Next year might have more games just as bad if fewer students renew.

We left at halftime of Iowa. I've never been so pissed at an ill-prepared ISU team. Haven't been back. My daughter is a student and went to 1 game. She grew up a HUGE ISU hoops fan.

Hindsight 20/20, the way the season turned out for both teams, that game is no surprise. I'll agree, at the time it looked really bad, and appeared Prohm did not prepare, but looking at it now, there was no way Iowa St was going to win that game.

Depends who comes back for Iowa, and if anything positive happens in the off season as far as transfers and jucos.

maybe there will be another Jamaal Tinsley who will look at prohm, and say you don’t have any guards, I’m coming here.

right now, with Garza, and weiskamp, I would assume Iowa by 10 plus.
If Garza and Wieskamp come back it’s literally 20+. Stop being nice lol. I’ve always said this though, Garza has nothing left to prove after this year. He’s a stud. Go over seas and start making bank.

There is losing and then there is losing. That game was "winnable" but we didn't leave because we were losing. We left because they didn't show up.

It's fine. He just needs like 2 more years.

You know. Like CPR.

Still waiting for all those immediately eligible grad transfers and juco players who are all big 12 quality to save us.

The waiting sucks, but you realize 1-50 still gets the job done as long as that 1 is a good one!

Don’t count the offers that go elsewhere. If you want to count bad things, count the misses we signed. No Beverlys so far!

Not that missing one recruit is that big of a deal and I understand why we may have missed on some but at what point is it a question of can we get recruits anymore.

When they’re high school kids. This staff is soooooo much better at the long recruitments. They’re really below average at speed dating aka transfer recruiting.

I think you're mostly right, but Prohm has whiffed hard on plenty of high school kids over the course of his time here. That's one of the reasons were in this position in the first place.

I thought they would get a couple decent guys so far. I think Prohm's job status plus last year's results are really hindering things. He really seems to be a dead man walking at this point.
