You're just being paranoid.. I wouldn't worry about it. The rise in competition should bring out his abilities and more emotion. If it doesn't, he won't excel into the player he wants to be. As long as we aren't getting a 2 inches taller version of George Conditt, a guy who should be a big, but played guard in high school, then I am eager to see what Xavier can do. If he is going to be a 7'0'' shooting guard and chuck 3's when he's out there...meh. Baylor had a "big" like that a few years back, only he claimed he was a 7'0'' point guard. Let's just hope Xavier doesn't lose an eye...
I don't even care if he takes 2 or 3 3's a game, as long as he can hit at a decent percentage and he does more than just that.

Isaiah Austin was going to be taken in the middle of the first round until he was forced to retire because of a condition.. If Xavier Foster ends up being like him, I'd take that any day of the week lol.
Henry no. Born is possible since he will be a 4 year player. I watched Henry get shut down by Norwalk and score 3 points one game. Henry is half the player Foster is. Born is going to do good at UNI.

It's amazing how we can convince ourselves Caleb Grill would come in and be incredible and Xavier Foster won't even contribute his freshman season. Some of y'all need to get a grip.

The Big East was pretty subpar that year, the only point I was trying to make is that I really don’t think Dougie puts up those kind of monster numbers in the Big 12 if he’s at Iowa State.
Xavier Foster is a black Ivan Chiriaev but with more skill and a better athlete.
That is because if I remember correctly, Caleb was originally a TJ recruit. And no one dare criticize anything TJ.
It's because people have essentially lost all hope for Prohm, even when it comes to recruiting. This year has caused so many people to look at the glass half empty and not even think about looking at it half full.
Foster was stocked full with high level offers. Not just one high level offer. (Kansas, Baylor, Creighton, Providence, Va Tech, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Iowa, Rutgers, Illinois, Missouri) If people want to believe he's not good or isn't going to be good, then they're essentially just disregarding a ton of good coach's recruiting profiles of Xavier.
As usual, we have to hope our recruits and players don't ever look at CF. For now, I'm going to assume XF comes in and works hard and becomes a star. Some of the negative, no doubt, comes from trolls as @cyclone4L pointed out. But it looks like some of the negative actually comes from what appear to be Cyclone fans. I just don't get it when the kid hasn't even stepped foot on campus yet.

Ben Jacobson told The Gazette this week that Henry will redshirt during the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
“His rehab is going well,” Jacobson said. “It sounds like September sometime that he’ll be back on the court and pretty active. He’ll redshirt, unless something crazy happens on his end or on our team’s end. That was a lot of the plan in the recruiting (process) that he was going to redshirt.”
So he was back on the court in September for a season that starts in November and Jacobson was on record saying the plan had always been for him to redshirt. Nice try though.
