I’d assume he was concussed, if not knocked unconscious.Have they said what his injuries were other than "serious but non life threatening."

In that picture above it looks like he is walking to his car...After seeing the pictures today, I am assuming that is what they were monitoring. Obviously it went well. It isn't even 48 hours later and he is out of the hospital.

He's financially set for generations and drivers are retiring at younger and younger ages. I can't imagine he ever gets in a car again but we all know those guys are wired differently.

They are using seats like this that were designed by a former NASCAR guy. They are usually form fitted to the particular driver.

I just can't wrap my mind around it. No visible bruises, cuts, burns. No broken bones. Healed up and walked out of there like he just had his tonsils removed or something.
It's beyond comprehension that you could walk away in this kind of shape just days after that accident, but maybe it's just one of those things we aren't meant to fully understand.
