It’s not a “you” issue it is a collective “us” Iowa State issue. There is little doubt that keeping Prohm is the easier path after 2021-22 but I think people have to acknowledged that it is at least troubling to have two rebuilds in three seasons.
I think a relevant question is how many years of missing the NCAA tournament in a row should be acceptable for “you” based upon CSP accomplishments to this point?

Prohm ball sucks, I’m so done with him. Terrible hire. Hopefully the next coach can bring us back to a consistent top 25 team.

3 years of missing the tournament should cost any coach at Iowa State their job at this point.

North Carolina is 10-12, 3-8. I doubt they are calling for Williams' head on a platter. We have some great recruits coming next year. Better days are ahead of us.
Um, yea they kinda are. They are concerned Roy is losing it with age. Also, it took Roy 32 years to have a year as bad as Prohm has 2 out of the last 3. Even then, UNC will still probably finish with a better record than our 2 bad years.

Not only is this a bad take for obvious reasons but many people have voiced their displeasure of Roy Williams in recent years. So if a HOF coach is not above reproach, why should Prohm be?

I watched Prohm's press conference yesterday. .....I have wondered if anyone had noticed West Virginia's turn around from last year. Turns out Prohm noticed. And how hard they play, how tough they are. Prohm keeps saying we play "soft", I would like to hear what he is doing to change that. He doesn't need to tell me what went wrong, he needs to tell me a PLAN to fix it. It feels like there is no plan. .....that one of these games it will all "click". ISU basketball is what gets me through the winter, I want to keep the faith, I want to support of coach, I want to believe. ............but waiting for it to all "click" isn't working on the floor, or in keeping the faith.

I don't care who you are or what status you might assume you are, if you lose out or come close to losing out in a season, you're in jeopardy .

I just don’t think there’s any excuse for Iowa State to be at the bottom of the big 12 two out of three years with loosing records. I also think there’s no excuse for us to not only lose at Hilton on a regular basis, but get blown out at Hilton on a regular basis.
Prohm did a fine job for two years with Freds players. To me, last year was a disappointment, with the exception of winning the big 12 tournament, which honestly was the saving grace of the season. For having a roster of NBA talent, we did not finish great in the big 12 reg season and a disappointing lost to a much lower seed team in the NCAA tourney.

There's literally 2.5 minutes of NBA playing time by last years roster. I get what you are saying, and I agree that the team didn't play up to the level of its talent, but people overstate the talent a bit. Not to mention, the two guys that are going to be 1st rounders on that roster (TH and THT) were true freshman.

I recently spoke with someone directly involved with the program. The players LOVE playing for Prohm and believe he is an excellent coach. They are still banded together and the locker room is still a tight knit bunch.

After hearing that, I couldn't help but wonder why we keep blowing games and losing close ones if that is the case.

The fact is Prohm isn't going ANYWHERE after this year. The program didn't have high expectations going into the year and his buyout is too high. Let's just hope that they can turn it around.

That being said, if Prohm trots out Jacobson in the starting lineup on Wednesday, I might just turn the TV off. Missing some of the shots he does is inexcusable and embarrassing.

well it’s not like they are blowing games on purpose. The way you worded it makes it sound like if they set their minds to it, they’ll win.
