Carton to Ohio State

That’s great and all, but why would anyone in Carton’s position care how gymnasts or tennis players are treated? When it comes to basketball, there is no difference between how student athletes are treated at Ohio State, Michigan, or Indiana.

Why would anyone in Cartons position cut the hoks before his top 3? Idk what you are insinuating are you saying OSU cheated to get Carton?

No, I am asking why you are slobbering all over Ohio State. Basketball players at OSU get treated no differently than basketball players at IU or Michigan. Add in that he would have a much greater chance to win at Michigan, and get a much better education, it seems like Michigan would be an objectively better choice.

how do you know this? You make up the dumbest ********.

I say: “OSU is a great place to be an athlete”

You say “OSU is no different than anywhere else why would he go there?”

It looks really butthurt and desperate.

What in the bloody hell are you talking about? I’m not being confrontational. Another poster stated that Michigan would have been a better choice, and you countered by saying that Ohio State is, mostly because of the way athletes are treated there. I am telling you that it is no different from the way basketball players get treated at Michigan or Indiana. Michigan in particular has other advantages over OSU that make it seem like an obviously better choice.

I don’t know why you are getting so defensive over my comments. I disagree with you; there is no need to throw a fit over it.

^^^not throwing a fit^^^

People who try to decipher why kids choose a school are wasting their time. OSU's coach is no joke and OSU is going to be VERY salty while he's there.
OSU coach has done well for himself. He was in the right place at the right time at Butler. Butler's Head coach unexpectedly left the team and Holtman was an unknown assistant they picked to cover for him. He turned that into the full time job and then a jump to OSU. Pretty crazy success story really

The key takeawy is that Iowa offers recruits mopeds and tOSU and Mich offer nice new SUVs. Obviously, they have the safety of the athletes in mind. Indiana was probably out because Adidas couldn't drop off the bags of cash that Nike could with the FBI looking so closely.

Holtman did a great job with just one really good player last year. Carton will the best or close to the best player they have. The guy that recruited him is the same one that recruited Chasson Randle to Stanford so he is used to recruiting the midwest. It is always hard to say what tips the scales for a lot players as mentioned earlier.

Every sport is king at OSU. After being around OSU for a few months now it would be an absolutely amazing thing to be a scholarship athlete at that school in any sport. Absolutely on a different level from anything in the Big 12.
You haven't been to Value City Arena....

Texas can compete with OSU on every level.
