Random Thoughts 14: I can see clearly now 2020 edition

Started to get some purply-violet red in the crease of my eyelid toward my nose. Same side of my head that I hit,. Wonder if I'm going to get a black eye out of this or if I also hit my eye. Doesn't hurt but may need to get creative with makeup in the morning.

Just tell them DH looks worse LOL. No don't, now days people end up in trouble being flippant like that.

my coworkers know me well enough but I was realizing it probably looks bad enough that I need to duck in to my boss's office in the am and fill them in.

Just tell them you were looking through the neighbors' keyhole and somebody opened the door. :rolleyes:

Roads are super crappy this morning. I’m surprised more schools aren’t delayed

Just tell them that work has been stressful, you threw up a few times at three in the morning, passed out and hit your head on the bathroom sink. Let them draw their own conclusions.

My mother bruised extremely easily. One night she got up to use the bathroom and the bedroom door was half closed as opposed to open like usual. She walked right into it and had a major black eye due to that.

I think I will pack on Tuesday and put everything in the truck before work on Wednesday. Then if I feel the need to leave on Wednesday to get ahead of any weather I'll be ready to just leave after work to get about 5 hours in.
