Fran has a roster full of Cyclone hating hawk lifers. We have what- maybe one guy who hates the hawkeyes on our team? Our staff & roster isn't that invested in the rivalry. Kinda similar situation with the football team. Frustrating as hell and I won't be sleeping tonight. FML.

I do believe this is actually a thing. Iowa was up 20 and their bench was still into it on the sidelines. And it's kind of hard to dismiss when you are playing against the Medical Redshirt All-Stars for the second year in a row.

Keep praising how great Steve Prohm is! His greatness sure does show up on the court with his incredible mid-game adjustments, lineups, offensive scheme, playcalling, etc.. give me a break...

there you go. You’re not settling for just one idiotic statement. You’re gonna have a collection.

Last years roster was the absolute apex of talent that we can expect for a Prohm constructed roster. We easily had 15-3 level talent last year which is the reason I was so ***** on this board all year last year.

First time I've seen this thread as I was too disgusted to even care anymore after the Ohio St game, but it looks like alot of people are starting to see the light.

Are you saying hes made a sweet 16 and won 2 Big12 tournament in spite of his coaching?
Made the sweet sixteen and won one of those championships with Fred’s players. Last years championship I think we benefitted off of getting hot, and a down KU team. But remember that incredible coaching we had in those 4-6 games leading up to the Big 12 tournament and then laying an egg in the NCAA tournament?

I watched some of the game Iowa played against DePaul. Iowa is probably better night in and night out than the blue demons.

depaul started that game hitting a bunch of shots. And Iowa got in a hole early and couldn’t recover. That happened tonight.

the disappointing part is las sunday this team showed some real toughness. And the effort has been good all season. Tonight none of that showed itself.

the offense in the first half was terrible. Prohm didn’t have an answer at all. It’s completely on him for not adjusting earlier.

the guys got pushed around and took it. It’s a discouraging how many steps back this team took tonight.

hopefully they can figure it out. Going to be a tough mental hurdle to overcome.

You’re going to be able to have an entire wall full of hot takes.

My honest thoughts are that this loss sucked real bad. Prohm shouldn’t be determined as a whole because of it but he better buck up....this isn’t acceptable

I love Jamie but man I really hope he doesnt make the same mistake of giving the same amount of time for Prohm to turn it around as he did for Rhoads.

He will. I don't see any way Prohm gets fired before 2021-22.

I doubt we make the tourney this year or next, which would be 3 out of 4 (not making it). Not good.

Sadly I agree. It's been a slow bleed of Iowa State basketball and with the talent he can recruit it all wont fall off so quickly. It's worse than losing all at once because it just pushes the rebuild farther and farther into the future.

Prohm doesn't know X's and O's. He has failed by not pursuing an assistant that knows them well enough and leaning on them. Prohm would greatly benefit from a former college head coach on staff. I don't see the benefit of having William Small on this staff. Prohm is also too stubborn. He does not make changes quick enough during the game. His subs always come in around 7 minutes into the game. If it's a slow start, try fresh legs. Haliburton should have been at the top of the key that game facilitating the offense from there. There are as zero creativity from our offense this game.

This is getting really dumb and painful to read.
