In the room chilling after tubing on the rapid river all morning. Had a ball! In about 20 minutes we head out for snorkeling, then back to the room to change & go to the game.

Side note: had a small Bahama Mama with dinner last night down at the fish shacks. It was good, so I ordered one at the bar at the hotel to take back to our room. It was three times the size of the free one at 16 oz, with a much larger ratio of booze to juice. 1/3 of it is still over on the table. ;)

Side note, part deux. DO NOT abbreviate Bahama Mama to just initials. It gives your sentences a whoooooole new meaning. :D

I've got no problem with dogs, cats, or other animals. It's a particularly personal response, unique to a person.

Just because the most prevalent cause isn't hers doesn't make it odd or false. That's a perception that can get deadly very fast. I've found out from simple things like opening my underwear drawer after people using stuff I'm allergic to have been there for some reasonl

Optimistic we win today based on you guys being there. We are 0-2 in opening games in cool locales with you there (I think). Can move to 2-0 in game #2's today. ;)

Side note 3: forgot to mention that the Mama, at $17, was actually $3 cheaper than the black russian I had the night before. Lew said "just hand them your keycard, close your eyes and sign the tab". It's a damn good thing I'm not a heavy drinker!!!!

I understand and can’t even imagine what that’s like. Allergies aside I don’t anyone in or putting stuff in my underwear drawer anyway, and that includes DH.

So, the snorkeling today wasn't in the open ocean. Atlantis built a huge open air aquarium that is designed to look like ancient underwater ruins. LOTS of different fish...one huge stingray, and a bunch of zebra sharks.
I was over close to the wall & felt something pushing between me & the wall. I looked back and this shark swims right alongside me!!! Too cool!! The guide told us to propel ourselves with our hands and not kick, advice that everyone pretty much ignored. So Lew & I hung back and just sculled along. We had sooooo many more fish around us!

In their own way, they thought they were helping, but that's way too much, and they were (then and now) refusing to change the actual problem because they don't believe it's a real thing.
 
Good news is I get to watch the game tonight. Bad news is I get to watch because I'm sick and had to bail out on a Turkey Day dinner invite.

Think I'll avoid the gameday thread. Those things are ******* toxic once the game starts. Several ******** plus Yusuf stalking half a dozen guys with insult posts makes it sorta unreadable. They should have a special gamethread mod handing out one day bans for everyone that acts like an asshat in those threads.

I don't get all of the dissing Renée Zellweger gets.

Just channel flipped into one of the Bridget Jones movies. I'd never seen any of them. I kinda like her in these.

So just them handling stuff was enough to trigger your allergies? That would suck.
 
Paved roads were awesome today. Got hung up on a drift (gravel roads) going to my 1st stop of the day, so much for the quick start. Nice day till just a few minutes ago now it's drizzling/ misting/snowing. Hope we don't get the ice we are predicted to get.

@ImJustKCClone, the crowd sounded awesome on the radio tonight. Good Job!

Missed the main meal today, the leftovers were very good though.
