Awesome. So we look like we will get zero of 247sports top ten HS players in 2021. This staffs inability to recruit the state is actually getting worse.
Seriously? Isn't Dekkers the #2 player in the state?

Cole Pedersen is #4, Tyler Miller is #8 and Brady Petersen is #9.

Twedt has dropped in the rankings. He is #9 in state for 2021. We might not even land any in-state kids in 2021 and that would be ok. We are in on plenty of good out of state kids.

are we seriously going to complain about Campbell’s recruiting?

Yeah, I'm not worried about this. This break up occurred at the beginning of the season.

I’m going to be honest... who really cares? Yes in state recruits are great but there’s a lot more talent outside of our state.
The non-alumni families are Hawks. It is what it is, the great part is we are finally converting lifelong Hawks to the good side. Tyler Miller in 2020 is one example, I feel like Downing was a Hawk as well. Hawks still cashing in on the 80's, the east side of the state has produced a lot better talent. Cedar Rapids and Quad Cities.

I actually wonder what committable offers he has at this point. If ISU hadn't talked with him since the summer, it's obvious that they've moved on. Good luck to the kid.

Pretty sure Downing came from a Cyclone family.

Sure, there’s more talent east of I-35, but they’ve cashed in on not only the 80’s but the 90’s and 2000’s.

Doesn’t seem like Valley/Dowling or the CIML puts out elite talent or develops well outside of the state.

I don’t think Campbell was going to waste his time after Twedt started taking visits to Iowa. He might be a better fit for Iowa’s program than ISU’s style anyways. Looks like a great athlete but without a position. Who knows?

Bollers recruitment will be interesting, he's another Hawk but ISU and Nebraska been mentioned as leaders. I'll believe it when it happens.

Blaise Gunnerson was a loss, Cyclone family going to a certain 90's esque program.

Gunnersen appears to be damaged goods. He’s got hip issues and I haven’t any idea of those are correctable or not. I’ve seen Bollers at just about every home game this season. Chinander is a good recruiter but we’ll see how good of a pitch they have come February

I still hold a flicker of hope for Blaise, he hasn’t signed anything yet. Our scholly situation is filling up fast though.
