I agree with Jay. Of course he said it much more eloquently than I ever could have.
but they didn't get shut down...they had the lead in the 4th qtr and imploded with turnovers. They also threw an interception in the endzone in the 2nd qtr that would've given them a 2 score lead. They moved the ball all day, just shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.Jay's take would make a lot more sense if they hadn't just gotten "shut down" by Baylor on their home field last week. It's okay to just flat out say that OSU just isn't very good this season. The last few seasons have next to no bearing on tomorrow's game.
Sound familiar? That was ISU at the beginning of the season. ISU worked their way out of it. Let's hope OSU doesn't this weekend.but they didn't get shut down...they had the lead in the 4th qtr and imploded with turnovers. I agree on the young QB but not Gundy. Gundy knows what he has in Chuba and while arrogant, Gundy has proven in the past to be willing to take what the D gives him if it is working. He can't run Chuba 75 times in the game though.Any offense needs to be patient vs ISU's defense. It is very hard for a young QB to do that let along a offensive guy like Gundy. OSU will score just not enough to keep up with ISU.
@Mods ban plsI agree with Jay. Of course he said it much more eloquently than I ever could have.
