CMC’s “KFish” game management tendencies concern me at times.
Same. This is the downside of playing not to lose as a general philosophy. If you’re playing that way but are the team with drive killing mistakes and have game changing calls go against you, nearly any game a potential loss. Drake anyone?

I don’t get not trying a misdirection or play action there, yet passing twice at midfield when going for 1 yard.

What is with the play calling...its not conservative...its anemic. I don't get what they are even TRYING to do offensively. I know they are, but it feels as if they're not even trying.

Iowa state will still likely win this but there’s a reason I wasn’t buying into the hype this season having lost two of the best offensive players of all time

Most likely looking at 6-6 season, maybe 7-5

Was really hoping the playcalling would improve with Manning back but that is very obviously not the case. We still refuse to run to the edge when we need to like that 3rd and 4. When we do in the first half with Kene he gets big gains and we go away from it immediately. Not having Montgomery and Butler to bail out our offensive coaches is going to be a problem.
