We had a fun mom/daughter day yesterday. We had a small meal out and then went to the BOGO Book Fair in DSM. Some really aewsome things:
Z is sounding out letters on the book titles and other places she sees writing. She wanted to bring out the Scrabble board to make words. We have a stack of new books. We also have a Five Nights of Freddy Water bottle. I kinda want her to take it to school next year, but it is a screw lid without a hole for a straw.

I'm happy. I put down weed and feed on Sunday. The timing of this is almost perfect.
I did Sunday morning as well. We've been getting light rains on and off for 3 days now. Hopefully it makes a dent in the dandelions.

While I find strong women attractive. I also seem pulled to crazy, but a crazy, strong, attractive woman carrying a whip is too much for me.

Actually played songs on YouTube for ride home. Some odd things on some 80s/90s rock.
Is it that She's a Beauty song?if I remember right it had a fun house ride and a lady with whip putting them in the cars for the ride.
This came across my newsfeed on FB...had to share. 
Just another reason why I can say I've always enjoyed life post-college and never understood why people look back so fondly on it.
Voice came mostly back and presentation went well.
Best husband award to DH who I called an hour before the presentation to relay that daycare had just called to say come get little man, we think he has pinkeye because oh yeah, there's a case in his class. Good that it worked out for him to take another sick day. Probably the most important work day I've had over the past year and I had to be there. Next one is on me, DH. Which is maybe tomorrow, IDk. DH said 2 other babies were being picked up when he got there. They all have it now, what does it matter
