I knew the neighbor was dumb, but the grass didn’t mow that much overnight from yesterday’s mowing.
My neighbor mowed the other day. He has to be 90+ and he mows by pushing the mower with one hand and a cane in the other while wearing a bike helmet. My first thought was that he looked kind of ridiculous and probably shouldn't still be mowing but then I thought I hope I still have the ambition to do that kind of stuff when I'm that age. If it makes him happy and allows him to enjoy the fresh air then so be it.
I was looking into renting a boat for a day on a lake. $900 clean which I find kinda pricey but then I looked up how much a boat is, like $30-50k+! What the ****? How does everyone in Minnesota afford one?

Boating is a way of life in some of those areas so it's something you buy as opposed to a motorcycle or second vehicle.
I think boats depreciate pretty quickly so if you buy one about 5 years old you can get it for quite a bit less than new. I just looked through Omaha Marine center's used inventory and they have a wide variety in quite a varying price range.

Second place is as second place does. Good finish for your maiden voyage. I think @SaraV has been the most consistently good over the past several years. @WooBadger18 has also finished well most years as I recall.
Yea, I have no real reason to have it but I saw it and had to have it. I can always sell it and get my money back. They never even gave it the initial burn to clean off the oils.

What a game last night! Two very evenly matched teams, both extremely well-coached. I felt bad for Beard and Tech, they kind of got lost on offense in overtime.
De-thatched my lawn yesterday. Wow, that was a mess. Last half I would mow one way and just drive to the other side to mow back otherwise wind would whip all kinds of crap at me. Still flushing grass and dirt out of my eyes. Now time to grab the spreader and do that step. Going to save myself a few hundred dollars not having someone else do it.
