Well, we've had a free piano scheduled to come our way from a family member who contributes heavily to my allergy problems.
After a couple weeks of worsening conditions, we're taking a real look at whether to take it or not. Early reports are that it's probably a very, very bad idea to take it.

I was really looking forward to that one. It's a real shame.
Pros: Free Piano
Cons: Piano might kill you

It's a tough call.

We might have an allergy free solution... maybe.

Will the allergens have been absorbed by the woods?

No, the wood part would be OK. Just wiping it down would probably be totally fine.
It's inside the keys where the dust is tougher to get at. From our experience with other things the last few years, it wouldn't come out for a few tries, and one of those could actually be lethal.

So far, near-lethal experiences have included opening my sock drawer, sitting in a chair, and opening a Christmas present. We just don't go with "it'll probably work" anymore.

Mount Mercy sent me a bill today for classes I didn’t take and dropped well in advance. The best part is the due date is in the past.

Walking with the nut tonight and go by a neighbor out playing with their ~4 year old boy

boy: Hi Jenny!
dad: that's not Jenny
boy: who is it then?
dad: I don't know
boy: but why does she look like Jenny?
dad: I don't know

I laughed

then I came up behind a couple walking with their kids, a toddler boy and a girl in a carrier. She looked a good bit younger than the nut so as I walked by I made a comment about all the hair she and my son have then asked how old. "A year next week" I legit was going to guess 6-7 months.

Maybe people are right when they say the nut is a big baby

Are you feeding him cheese curds?

Niece and hubby are driving up for the Final Four. Vacuum thread has me thinking that maybe I should at least straighten up and pick up a little. Don't want the immediate family to see how much of the sloth life I have been living this winter.

At least pick up the dirty underwear, nobody cares to see that laying around. Especially if they have to try to move it to sit down.

Had late lunch with niece and nephew-in-law. Talking sports and got to chatting about attending football games. I found the story of him throwing a Hawkeye fan down a flight of stairs in IC to be quite entertaining. Guy had thrown a beer filled cup at my niece. Would have been a good one for the "from the stands" threads we have during football season.

Cleared the debris (leaves etc...) of my rhubarb patch they are beginning to poke thru on the thin debris end, the thick end is just dark soil, hopefully raking them off will help them pop up.

Another piece of maintenance done today, went to work on the next, it's all done except for a tie rod end that was ordered today and will be in Tues.

Gosh it got really nice this afternoon. was comfortable in a short sleeve shirt will working on stuff. Auburn up at the half would be fine if it ends that way I'd like to see Tech vs. Auburn in the final.
