Orchestra concert last night. 7 different orchestras played 2 songs each. I noticed that there were kids named Flowerpretty and Oceane.

Make sure to take away her water dish a few hours before you want "bed time" and then get plenty of play time in before actual bed time to wear her out. Our vet told us mental stimulation was just as important as physical. Get a ball feeder or something you can feed her via instead of just a bowl to burn some energy too ( we still occasionally do this with both our 8 yo dog and 1 yo puppy).
Good Ideas. also, typically a dog will need to drop one about 1/2 hour after eating. Watch for her to start sniffing around like she's looking for something. Sure sign, and gives you a chance for you to decide where she goes.

I already feel sorry for this, I assume, girl for having that name in high school. I guess I'm old. I don't mind unique names, even Oceane is bareable, flowerpretty is not.

Feel lucky, I was at a track meet standing in the mud. Daughter in the field events and son got pulled into the 4x4 when a kid no showed to school today. First event to last. Had the fastest split in it so at least he repped himself well.

Our newest granddaughter Rowen just finished having RSV. We FaceTimed with Hannah a few nights ago, and she (Rowen) looked and sounded awful. We were apprehensive, lung issues at her age (3 months) can be scary.

But last night we watched her getting a bath and she looked 100% again. :)

Thankfully she isn't too bad but we think she is getting molars too so her face is a never ending stream of snot and drool.

Has anybody ever been to a themed wedding? I think that would work well for like a second marriage for something.

This damn puppy just walked from the bedroom all the way to the front door,

Taking water away has helped quite a bit. She slept about 6 hours, went pee outside and back to sleep almost instantly last night. Apparently she slept most of the day, either the 3 walks from Sunday caught up to her or she is in a growth spurt.

Picture day at daycare. Found something not really his size at Target on Sunday. Worked out though because he's growing faster than I thought. Joked to his teacher yesterday that meh, we won't be that high maintenance as to bring him in something else and then have the teachers change him.

Gave him a bath last night so his crazy hair is fresh and nice. Was super late to work this morning so I could see him in this cute pie outfit that includes suspenders. At some point in the morning he scratches his face, right across his cheek. I just cut his nails Sunday! It's seriously like 2 inches long and the tiniest bit of blood so you know, it's good and visible.

Anyway. Get him dressed, I go to vote, DH goes to daycare. I get to work and see I have a text from DH saying "guess who gets to try again tomorrow". Had a blowout in the car and it already soaked through his pants onto his car seat.

Guess who's going to be high maintenance tomorrow and send him in something else! My nickname for him of "disaster monkey" was especially appropriate this morning.

Received an email telling me that I can start paying on the son's U-bill as early as this month. When you have a kid that took this long to decide where he is going, I feel more comfortable just writing that one check and getting it overwith on the day it is officially due.

Went to the post office yesterday to mail property taxes. My mom's has several slips in it because Iowa likes to divide one farm into many many pieces. So I had them weigh it to make sure it doesn't get returned and I get a bunch of fines (I get to pay them not mom). Lady says one would be fine and then prints off this label which covers over the name of the place this letter is going, instead of just plopping a stamp on it. I'm thinking, this isn't going to end well.
