So my Mom's older sister turns 90 this year - when her kids asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said it would be nice to celebrate it with her sister (knowing full well it wasn't gonna happen, Mom's in NE Wisconsin and sis in southern Oklahoma).
And then her kids went out and got airline tickets for her to visit Mom in July....a couple of the kids are coming along, the vixen and I and my siblings will be there, too. Pretty nice deal for the girls - one is 90, the other 88, probably won't be too many chances for them to get together again.

Although a little campy at times, I love this movie and the story in general. Having no brother, I am jealous of those of you from big families....and I know the usual comeback is all the negatives and family warfare. Still, I think siblings are gifts.

I'd be sure to tell them that you indicated to the prospective buyers that the pics showed there was no problem with the water -- that the drainage was in fact very good. You can't go wrong with apologetically telling the truth IMO.Super awkward neighbor situation ahead.
Background, when we get a LOT of rain in a short time, we get a "river" between our house and the neighbor's that quickly goes down after the rain stops. It funnels down from other houses around us and goes between our houses then out to a field.
So this neighbor is selling. Open house over the weekend and as I was coming back from a walk with babe, a car pulls over to ask me about the house (I was in my driveway) because they were going to offer on it. Sure! They were mostly concerned about water and asked if I've ever seen water get near their foundation. No, I have not. Even better, I have pictures I've taken from when it "floods" that I offered to show. Yes they'd love to see. As I'm swiping through, I realize nothing actually shows the neighbor's foundation but gives references points that indicate plenty of distance before that's a concern - at least to me. Probably a good 8-10ft which is plenty for a short-lived stream. IDK, I think it would get to our basement windows before the neighbors' and DH is literally not even a tiny bit worried about it.
Anyway, they said it was good to see that and how it wasn't a dealbreaker but maybe they'd want to put a riser(?) on the septic tanks in that area or some more dirt near the foundation to up the grade. They left on a very positive note - asking my name again and chatting about the neighborhood.
I get a message today from my neighbor asking about these pictures because apparently this person passed on the house telling them I showed them pictures of water very near the foundation and the homeowner is of course, confused at what pictures I have. So I sent a message back offering to stop by tonight and I'm just like. Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. We've only talked to them a few times - seem perfectly nice and all. I'm sure they are pissed at me and wonder wtf I told these people. I'm also ticked at the buyer because dude, wtf? If you truly felt what I showed you illuminated something the owners were trying to hide, thanks for throwing me under the damn bus. Just say you have concerns about drainage or some **** and move on. Super annoyed at them now. And dreading trying to smooth this over.
I thought this story was going in a different direction. I was sure that while you were flipping through pictures you were going to show them a dicpic from DH
or @cyrocksmypants
I have sent her a **** pic before.
all good, neighbor seemed good to learn I wasn't like, trying to sabotage their home selling efforts nor did I have pictures showing water where the dude said it was. Neighbor said he seemed hung up on water issues in general and I mentioned how they said they've been house hunting for years so yeah. I wonder if they are what you'd term "high needs".
Anyway. In the future I'll go with "we moved here yesterday, I don't know nothing about nobody".
A friend of mine wanted to watch it with his 12 year old son. I said if it's about Motley Crue it's most likely going to be a lot of sex and drugs.Watched The Dirt last night. On netflix, about the band Motley Crue. Basically it is Nikki Sixx and a little Tommy Lee re-enacting all the drugs and sex that the bad had back in the day. Kinda like a condensed version of the wolf of wall street. Not a lot of worthwhile value in the movie.

It was likely an extremely tiny detail, but I didn't miss it.This seems like the kind of thing a lawyer would infer from the evidence. Well done, counselor!

I know this ex ISU wrestler from the 70s. This is one crazy guy. Every story of his starts or ends with a fight, and a couple of fights in the middle.
One time he said to me "You probably figured out I like to fight" I said I had that figured out long ago.
It's funny this guy had 2 football players as roommates as a freshman. He is from small town Iowa and these were two kids from (I believe he said Chicago) He said they fought constantly but when asked if he wanted to change rooms he said no because he refused to back down from anything. The dudes in the early 70's were always fighting. Remember when Chuck Jean got tossed out of school after **** got WAY out of control. Seemed like there were always fights between football players and wrestlers in the bars. You were best served to just avoid those ********, and I mean the wrestlers, not the football guys. Some of the football guys were big and scary but they were not dangerous to be around and weren't LOOKING for trouble.
