We have a bomb cyclone here in Denver right now equivalent to a Cat 1 hurricane. This is nuts. Roads closed, trains questionable due to rolling power outages. Good thing I brought my sleeping bag to work today.

This morning I packed a bag with my sleeping bag, a change of clothes, some zzzquil, and yes, some of that.
I'm pretty confident I will go home, though. It supposed to start dying down around 4 or 5.
Same with the L in Chicago. You're riding in one car, and the car in front of yours is moving differently than the car you're sitting in. That'll make me motion sick in a hurry.
Same goes if I'm watching "Deadliest Catch" and they switch to the static camera hooked up to one of the masts in choppy/stormy seas. Makes the boat look like it's not moving, but the horizon is allllll over the place.

If you want a laugh look at housing prices there (including rentals). Absolutely insane. Some of the priciest zip codes in the country are in Westchester County. Took three of us to be able to afford renting a house while I was up there for a bridge project.

Dh said someone at work asked people to tell Congress to make changes for who counted as family. Had a sibling with cancer they were caring for but didn't count under fmla.

No water in my basement (knock on wood), but there's plenty of water in the backyard that I'm thinking about selling my house as a waterfront property.

Home inspector warned us about the grading of our yard before we bought this house last year. This is our first house, so of course I'm on pins and needles about where this water is going to go.
Was thinking about this with the cave thread on the topic and now your post - I think places like that should institute a minimum usage as well. Often I think companies that have unlimited there can still be a pressure to not use much or some managers may be better than others. I was toying with that idea in my head today. Unlimited upper but say, 2-3 weeks lower minimum.
