Airplane washing and detailing service. You can thank me later. ;)

I have actually thought about that many times.

Do you live close to Costco?

Some days I'd love to just gather shopping carts or stock shelves part time. I tell co-workers this and they think I'm kidding.

1. Gather the carts.
2. Roll the carts in.
3. Speak to no one outside of an occasional nod.

Also bussing tables.

My first thought was Target backroom.

Seriously, does he let little phoo-phoo dogs run in the yard? Eagles can't lift more than about four or five pounds max.
They were small terriers, definitely weighed more than that, but I think she said she saw one swoop down once at one of the dogs.

She also had two '53 MGs in the garage.

Oooh, TD's, cool. Small boy Boxster read the book below as a kid. Probably started my thing for sports cars.

On college visit today. There were 3 guys chopping ice for a few hours as we went around. When we made the last pass, I informed the oldest that that is why you get a college degree. So you don’t have to chop ice all day long. The one watching them chop ice has the management degree.

I have one kid going to Iowa state that shouldn’t and one that should that probably won’t this is irritating. BTW, my major is so much easier now, it kinda ticked me off

Our lead city worker is bad and getting worse. Like driving through a civil war battlefield on our streets. Church secretary caught me monday and mentioned that she is going to have to dig into a snowbank to find their mailbox which had disappeared. Not sure how they took it out seeing that they leave about 3 foot on each side and you can not go two wide on about 10% of the streets in this town since they still haven't gotten around to cleaning them from the last storm. Add the storm sewers all packed with snow and there are ponds everywhere.

Here is a weird coincidence. Yesterday, I got a call during lunch but I let it go since I was at the college visit and it was on vibrate in my coat pocket. A college student sat with us and we chatted with him a bit, nice kid, a chem eng. major from Ottumwa. Look at my phone after lunch to see who called, looked to be a spam call, and it's a call from Ottumwa.

Pothole at 72nd & Dodge in Omaha. One of the busiest intersections in town

I've been through that intersection! That's quite the pothole.

I texted DH to be careful this morning, we're getting rain now plus close to 50-60 next two days and the snow is melting so major flooding expected with the frozen ground. Already higher water than I've ever seen on my drive in which is nuts because it's not that it's so much water yet, it's just that the ground is frozen plus ice/snow blocking normal dispersal routes. Water starting over the road in a couple spots and if it keeps up I suspect I'll have to take a different route in or home. Oh, and the reason for this tangent, the water over the roads is hiding the new potholes.
