*** Official Oklahoma vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Been a tough week for the team, coaches and us fans. Credit the Toads for hitting a couple of clutch contested threes to pull it out Saturday but I still think ISU played well enough to win. I do feel like that was the low point of the season. I saw some player tweets after the game and they appeared focused and rallying with each other. I hope come out to so the doubters wrong and the quick turnaround to prove they right the ship.
I am curious to see if now there reg season title hopes have been removed if the team can relax a bit and get back to playing free as they did in January.

Bring the Boom to the Sooners, Go State!!!

That's pretty normal, outside of Iowa and Kansas games.
I’d disagree. It never seems to get completely full, but I can remember games against Oklahoma state, Texas, and TCU this year that had a nearly full student section. I sat 2nd row from the top against Oklahoma state this year.

At this point, just win. I took OU +9.5 as a hedge on my emotions but would gladly lose that cash.

Time to break the funk.
I want to see Lard on a break away and rip the rim right off the board to bring the house down!

We are so due for a game where we hit the gas, never let up, and curb stomp someone. LET'S ROLL!

Students, please "party hearty" and then just head over to Hilton to be extremely loud and rowdy for the game tonight. Need you to compensate for the old people near the court.

Thanks.

I'm naturally on the optimistic side, so excuse me once, but has this been the worst season at Hilton that you can remember? Even in down years, we've had some upsets and good crowds. This season has been unspectacular to say the least. Even thrashing KU wasn't as fun as it usually is. I just don't remember any Magic moments. The crowds have been dead and the play uninspiring. Hopefully we can start a run and bring it when we close with TT.

How long is it going to take to get to Hilton, and will they clear out all the trucks in the parking lots by then?

It doesn't help that Kansas and KState were before the students got back. Also a lot the bad weather lined up with the home dates making travel difficult.

It's not all that often that ISU's going to be able to play the David/Goliath card like what Hilton Magic is essentially based off of, so that may have something to do with it.

Aside from the McDermott years I know the 96-97 team lost 3 games at home and really didn't do anything spectacular.
