Now that this thread has been JLH'd I suppose I better check my phone to see if anything important is coming up.

It's simply not realistic to expect a basketball coach to have the same taste in ties Boxster does.
Nice to see Boxster acquired his grandfather's tie collection.
I've shared the same concern all along, or mild annoyance I'll say. I have chosen to stay quiet (until now) for the sake of self preservation on the Internet. #strengthinnumbers #istandwithclonetil01
It's not a hating on Prohm, I just don't understand why any coach who wears a suit and tie can't represent team colors in some fashion. At the very least consciously decide every game to not wear an opposing team's color.

My mom mentions it every time. He really likes purple. Alot of his ties have purple. With his Salary he COULD find plenty of Cardinal and Gold Ties. Just sayin'.......
A Cyclone tie collection is only as adequate as the accompanying pile of cardinal and gold pom poms that rest below.
I just always assumed it was a Hefty bag and he was saving money.

As silly as this conversation is, I do mention Prohm’s shirt/tie combo to my friends relatively often. He has really come a long way from that first year here. There were some heinous clashing colors and patterns. Love a coach who shows continous improvement.

I wish I could rate this a few different ways.
I really hope threads like this make it back to Prohm just so he can have a good chuckle over it. Does anything in his brief history at ISU make you think he gives a rat's ass about his sideline attire?
