Kansas @ Kansas State

Wade/Agbaji
Mawien/Lawson
Sneed/Vick
Brown/Grimes
Stokes/Dotson

When small-ball, Dean takes Lawson and Diarra/McGuirl get Agbaji. Weber may switch Sneed and Brown's assignments to ensure Vick doesn't go-off. Brown is more likely to get in his head which is empty most of the time. But Sneed did such a great job shuttering Shayok, I'm guessing he starts on Vick tonight to match his length.

Ku will play some junk diamond defense with zone to hide Lawson.
Who do you think plays more critical game time minutes, Mawien or Diarra?

I'm guessing Weber will want Wade at 4 as much as possible to allow the offense to run through him, which means Mawien is on the court. But Mac has a bad fouling habit that Lawson will take advantage of tonight. That will force Diarra minutes with small-ball matchups. Don't forget McGuirl. He has shown the ability to really go-off in big games.

Mawien is positioned to have a big night as well because Ku could have matchup problems. He's just very inconsistent on offense.

If KSU wins ISU controls their own destiny by the simple fact they get to play KSU, and Baylor and Tech for that matter.

If KU wins that means they have beaten KSU on the road, they also beat Baylor on the road.
They will go undefeated at home, and at minimum probably finish 13-5. And I think they actually get to 14-4 if they win tonight.

Given ISU does not play KU anymore it would need to depend on other teams to beat Kansas and that is not a good situation to be in.
Strange things happen in the Big 12 late in conference season involving Kansas, so never a good idea to leave it up "cough" "cough" " to fate"

Go purple Kansas!

Kansas was really dependent on the 3 in their win against TT. Kansas really hasn't been a good three point shooting team this year. I think that explains their road woes this year.

K-State clamps down and wins 70-67

If Kansas gets to 67, KState isn't winning this game, lol.

KU hasn't played a junk defense all year - why would they break one out against one of the worst offenses in the country ?

McGuirl has 18 points against the worst team in the conference.
His next game high is 9.
What is the definition of going off in big games?

Rooting for KSU tonight, they've got a ginder for their next 4-5 games, so I would expect them to drop 1 or 2 in that stretch.
