The Wazzu ranking may affect us. They would likely have to jump penn state and LSU from last week to get in. Not sure if Washington winning Friday is enough to improve their strength to do that. But wazzu is a 10 win team.

Cyclone fans are completely overwhelming the Alamo Bowl on Twitter compared to WVU fans. Not sure if it'll matter, but it certainly can't hurt!

The NY6 will be the top 11 plus Texas due to the conference tie in. I believe other tie ins are in top 11. So Wazzu will not make NY6. (I think it is BS the SEC is allowed to get 4 of the 12 teams, there should be a limit like there was in the old BCS days).

It will be tough for the Alamo committee to pass up a #13 Wazzu vs. #16 WVU. Hopefully we are getting some advocacy from big 12 and JP to pick the true 3rd place big 12 finisher and team that will likely sell more tickets (the loyal sons that are forever true). But I’m researching Orlando pretty hard at the moment.
