Yes, but I am guessing that at his core, as an OSU grad, he can't stand the idea of OU getting in over OSU. That is it easier to accept a second SEC team that admit a Big XII team. That the Big XII is better than the Big seems kind of repugnant to him.

He’s not even crying for Ohio State, he’s begging on his knees for everyone to put in Georgia because they looked good and LOST in the conference championship while failing to mention Oklahoma actually played defense and forced a safety yesterday in winning the conference and beating every team on their schedule. OU deserved to be in and is a top 4 team, Georgia is not. Kirk just really thinks we shouldn’t play the games, we should just see who has more talent and declare them the winner.

Now that the CFP has been announced, what is the process of bowl game notification? Does Alamo call up the ADs of the schools and invite them, and then if they say yes, it's a done deal? And then after that gets publically announced, then Camping World calls up the ADs of the next schools...and on and on?
