It could get interesting if Iowa ever offers... (my opinion because he grew up an Iowa fan pretty sure)

Not worried about it. The days of Iowa slow playing the in state kids and swooping in late with offers and getting commitments are over. Kirk HATES offering the instate kids early and our staff is really cutting into the stranglehold that Iowa once had.
It says that Heacock recruited him. Is it normal to recruit the opposite side of the ball, or is that likely a misprint?

This is a 2020 recruit, so KF has plenty of time to go after him, if he wants. I like that CMC goes after the guys he wants early, and then stays on them. Can't say that Iowa will not get some of the in state guys, but this is way better than giving up before even trying. Success will allow ISU to get better guys. and OL is a place that needs better guys.
His highlight tape is funny, it's just not fair to the other kids.
Recruiting is more by area than position is my understanding. However with in-state recruits that wouldn’t necessarily have to hold true.
His high school coach was on the football staff at ISU a few years ago..
