I can't imagine why this immediately made me think of RTT...

Rumor has it Maishe Dailey wants to transfer to ISU.
Tried to google this as originally spelled...got Moshe Dayan. While he might have played some basketball in his day (he was athletic), he's, well, pretty much dead for the last 35+ years. :D
Then looked at the Iowa roster. Then googled with the right spelling & found the Dolph story. Ooof!

Defrosted the garage freezer last night, Great Job to me!

Woke up this morning and realized I'd forget to put the food back in the fridge that I had put in a couple tubs outside, not good job to me.

Thankfully no cats, coons, or squirrels thought pork fitters, little ceasers fundraiser pizza, or ribeye steak sandwiches sounded appealing.

Sometimes in the post game you would pick up some pretty good zingers from Johnny Orr when they hadn't realized they were back from commercial. Or in between commercials when they would switch back by accident.

Yeah, Johnny had some good ones, but Johnny was a coach, not a professional broadcaster. Broadcasters are not perfect...but dang...that's gotta hurt when your homer "voice of the hawkeyes" rags on a player like that.

I posted that as a joke after Dolph's faux pas......it's not like we need him, anyway. I'm perfectly happy with the players we have! :)

I remember a MBB broadcast years ago, Pete and Eric.....there had been a very bad call against us and the game went to break - except they didn't shut Pete off. He said something to Eric like, "Boy, that was f**king terrible. J**** C*****, have you ever seen anything so wrong?" Eric mumbled something about still being live, and then they got cut off.

Needless to say, when they came back on Pete apologized profusely. Probably never happened again - those guys learn their lesson pretty quickly.

I really liked it. It's a remake of a Japanese horror (Ringu)
I'm not a big fan of horror mostly because slasher flicks are considered horror and I think they are nearly the lowest common denominator - only marginally better than horror that is so bad it is funny (Zombeavers, anyone?). I like psychological and suspenseful horror so I did like this one.

Yes, there are different sub genres to horror. I for one love slasher movies as well as the psychological horrors.
I can't say for certain but I think the first VHS tape I rented was Pieces

FYI if you like psychological horror and you've never seen The Autopsy of Jane Doe you should.
